About the project
We believe that, even in challenging and difficult times, it is possible to create space and build a place where conditions can come together for real development - and thus for the healing of body, mind and life force. That is why we have established the KKPL Foundation, so that under the auspices and guidance of the precious Lamas, H.H. the 17th Karmapa and Lama Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, this meditation, relaxation and healing place can come into being, combining the teachings of the Buddha with traditional Tibetan medicine.
At KKPL we will be providing the following
Traditional Tibetan Medicine therapies:
Kunye
Specific Tibetan reflexology is one of the main and traditionally oldest external therapies of traditional Tibetan medicine. For its harmonising and vitalising effects, it has been mentioned and valued as an essential part of the healing process for thousands of years. At first glance, it is distinctive for its own specific approach to the preparation and use of massage oils, which are aromatized with purposefully selected herbs. Even the pressure action on acupressure and energy points in the body is supported by the thoughtful use of primary natural elements (stone, wood, shells, etc.).
